Ederlezi - ode ao renascer

Ederlezi has it's origin in the combination of the names names of the prophets Hidir or Eder - guardian of animals, poor people, giver of abundance, and Ilyas or Elezi - guardian of waters, animals, health. Both of them meet on St. George eve to restore nature.

The celebration of Life and the awaken of the eternal Spring. Desde as mais variadas lendas e histórias...onde o veado entra na caverna onde dorme a personificação da Primavera. Sonolenta, ela toca no nariz húmido do veado e desperta com o seu bafo quente. O nobre animal, ajoelha-se e deixa que ela se agarre ao seu pêlo e chifres, e ainda cambaleante, a Primavera sai da caverna e vê o que fez o Inverno. Ainda agarrada ao veado e percorrendo as florestas, ela cumprimenta o sol e instiga a jovem vida a sair da timidez e torpor invernantes. Tempo de renascer, convida, de mão estendida e sorriso ameno.

A música que nos acompanha desde o início do filme, é surpreendentemente, uma música de casamento. Da união do Homem com a máquina, e com um sentido mais elevado das coisas, erguem-se questões próprias da mais cruel solidão. O Homem isolou-se. A sua natureza já não se encontra no que lhe é externo, mas na mais profunda das essências. Durante esse mergulho ritual introspectivo, onde o corpo se afunda como pedra, existe sempre o risco de não voltar.

The rivers Styx, Phlegethon, Acheron and Cocytus all converge at the center of Hades on a great marsh. The other important rivers of Hades are Lethe and Eridanos[citation needed]. Styx was guarded by Phlegyas, who passes the souls from one side to another of the river. In other versions, Phlegyas guarded Phlegethon, one of the other main rivers of Hades. Red Queen - Resident Evil

É sem sombra de dúvida a minha personagem favorita do filme Resident Evil.

A sua referência ao Princípio da Rainha Vermelha, por sua vez retirado da obra de Lewis Carroll Through the Looking-Glass:

- "It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place."

A frase acima é amplamente utilizada para ilustrar a verdadeira corrida às armas que todas as espécies realizam só para se manterem adaptadas. Keep running just to stay fit.

E para ganhar a corrida?

"If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast".

No filme Resident Evil, a Red Queen simplesmente afirma que: "You're all going to die down here".

Enjoy life, either running or not.

She is an amazing artist and person, and I'm thank ful for the oppertunity to work with her. I enjoy doing collaborations as the outcome is so unpredictable and brings out the best of two worlds. I would encourage you all to check out her art. I think in a short time to come you'll be seeing a lot more of it as she grows as an artist.
